We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that our sourcing activities are cost-effective, efficient, and aligned with our company s goals. This role will focus on developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes to support the game development ecosystem at Mirai in Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies:
Create and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with company objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. - Supplier Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and competitive pricing. Conduct supplier performance assessments and negotiate contracts and terms. - Contract Management:
Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. Negotiate terms, pricing, and conditions to maximize value for the company. - Procurement Operations:
Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including requisition processing, purchase orders, and payment approvals. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures. - Cost Optimization:
Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost-control strategies without compromising quality or delivery timelines. - Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Operations, to understand requirements and ensure alignment on procurement strategies. - Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain by implementing effective strategies and maintaining contingency plans. - Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance for senior management. Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making. - Compliance:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all procurement processes.
Stay Updated:
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging suppliers, and best practices in procurement to continuously improve procurement practices.
Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus. - Experience:
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of managing procurement strategies, supplier relationships, and cost optimization. - Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
