Havelock One Interiors is looking for a Projects Manager to join our team in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Background

Since 1998, Havelock One Interiors has established itself as a leading turnkey fit-out service provider in the Middle East. We specialise in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks and sophisticated shop fittings.

Even though our KSA office is located in Riyadh, we work on different projects all across the country. Consequently, the ideal candidate for the Projects Manager position shall be flexible and adaptable. Role Summary

Working independently, the PM will execute fit-out projects with a successful track record in various sectors such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education. The PM will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and management of multiple projects by leading multi-disciplinary teams, including subcontractors, through project activities to meet client requirements and complete projects successfully, safely, within quality, budget, and on-time.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Contract

  • Work towards the creation and execution of a business development strategy in line with the company's goals.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Supervise the end-to-end process of the tendering function.

Project Planning

  • Identify stakeholders and plan communications.
  • Develop project management plans and schedules.
  • Ensure activities are clearly defined for all stakeholders.
  • Plan procurement in line with project schedules.
  • Identify risks and plan risk management and responses.

Project Execution

  • Specify project objectives and plans, including delineation of scope, budgeting, scheduling, setting performance requirements, and selection of project subcontractors.
  • Interface with the project team to share best practices and ensure effective resource utilization.
  • Implement various operations through proper coordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting, and construction throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction progress throughout the projects.
  • Oversee construction sites and manage vendors and trades.
  • Analyze and share regular updates on site operations with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain good communication with clients at all times.
  • Direct and manage project execution, ensuring all works are properly monitored, coordinated, and controlled.
  • Acquire, develop, and manage the project team.
  • Conduct and administer procurement in line with project schedules.
  • Distribute project information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform quality assurance and control throughout the life of the project.
  • Manage all local municipality and government approvals required for the operation and handover of the project in line with the project schedule.
  • Verify and control any changes in scope and costs.
  • Control project invoicing and final accounting.
  • Monitor and control risks.

We are looking for a versatile Projects Manager in KSA who has the following experience, skills, and personal attributes:

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of similar experience in an interior fit-out contracting company.
  • At least 6-7 years of experience managing teams, preferably on multi-site projects.
  • Ability to effectively manage single or multiple projects from award through different stages of implementation to handover.
  • Strong technical, execution, and commercial abilities with sound knowledge of woodworking, particularly the technical aspects of joinery and good manufacturing practices of timber, veneers, and hardware.
  • Proven track record as a successful PM in a fit-out contracting business.
  • Good knowledge of the KSA market, including a network of clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Successful track record of working on projects in sectors such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, Education.
  • Knowledge of the latest developments in the fit-out market and ability to suggest ideas to boost the company's industry presence and brand.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work successfully in a multinational market environment.
