This role involves overseeing the design, execution, and interpretation of market research studies for a diverse range of clients. The Market Research Associate Director collaborates with clients, as well as internal teams, to ensure that market insights drive strategic decisions and deliver high client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  2. Understand clients' business objectives and research needs.
  3. Provide strategic guidance to clients based on research insights.

Research Design and Execution:

  1. Oversee the design of quantitative and qualitative research studies, including surveys, focus groups, and observational research.
  2. Ensure the use of appropriate research methodologies and techniques tailored to clients' needs.
  3. Manage the end-to-end research process, including proposal development, data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  1. Analyze market data to extract actionable insights and recommendations for clients.
  2. Utilize advanced statistical techniques and software for data analysis.
  3. Interpret research findings in the context of clients' business objectives and present them effectively.

Team Leadership and Management:

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of market research professionals.
  2. Allocate resources and manage the budget for the market research department.
  3. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Business Development:

  1. Support business development efforts by participating in client pitches and proposal development.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the agency.
  3. Develop and present thought leadership materials to enhance the agency's market presence.

Vendor and External Partner Management:

  1. Identify and manage relationships with external research vendors and consultants.
  2. Ensure the quality and integrity of external research projects and deliverables.
  3. Negotiate contracts and manage research budgets.

Continuous Improvement:

  1. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in market research.
  2. Implement innovative research techniques and technologies to enhance the research function.
  3. Continuously evaluate and improve research processes and methodologies.

Authorities:

  1. Will be involved in all decisions of Market Research division.

Interfaces with:

  1. Project Team
  2. External Clients and Suppliers

Accountabilities:

  1. Business Development
  2. Project delivery as per deadline
  3. For project framework
  4. To uphold client confidentiality

Position Competencies:

Academic qualification:

  1. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in business administration, statistics or other relevant subject.

Relevant experience:

  1. 7+ year experience in market research. The experience should include noticeable involvement in client facing positions and should involve a variety of research topics.

Relevant trainings:

  1. Use of MS applications
  2. Communication skills

Skills (Wherever required):

  1. Firm knowledge about the most common quantitative tools.
  2. Experience of qualitative research is a big advantage.
  3. Professional experience from sales.
  4. GCC Experience.
  5. Excellent oral and writing communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in Arabic is an advantage.
  6. Willingness to take responsibility, even if not directly ordered.
