This position will enforce policies and procedures related to both petty cash and credit card expenditures, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Petty Cash Management:
    • Maintain and reconcile petty cash ledgers, ensuring accuracy in records.
    • Process petty cash requests and reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
    • Prepare and submit periodic petty cash reports to the Senior Accountant.
    • Monitor petty cash usage and enforce compliance with company policies.
  • Corporate Credit Card Management:
    • Administer the corporate credit card system, including issuance and tracking of cards.
    • Review and verify credit card statements for accuracy and adherence to company policies.
    • Work with employees to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to credit card transactions.
    • Maintain records of corporate credit card transactions and prepare reports for management.
  • Policy Enforcement:
    • Develop, implement, and communicate policies regarding the use of petty cash and corporate credit cards.
    • Provide training and support to employees on expense reporting and compliance guidelines.
    • Monitor transactions for potential policy violations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Assist the Finance team with month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
    • Contribute to maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Job Requirements for Junior Accountant Role at MDLBEAST

To be considered for the Junior Accountant position at MDLBEAST in the Finance & Accounting department, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Odoo or similar is a bonus).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
