About Noon:

Noon is the leading edtech platform in the Middle East, with over 12 million students and teachers using our app to learn, teach, and collaborate. We have recently raised $41 million in Series B funding to expand our reach and impact in the region and beyond. We are on a mission to transform the physical classroom experience by introducing our highly engaging social, group-based learning and AI to make learning fun and improve learning efficacy. Our ultimate goal is to provide access to the best teachers to every student even if that teacher is only available virtually. We believe we can do this if we blend AI, peer-to-peer learning, and a carefully designed physical space.

Office: This role is full-time and Riyadh-based.

About the role:

This is a critical leadership role and you'll be leading the development of the learning approach for Noon's newly invented hybrid experience. Your role will be a perfect blend of data-driven strategy and leading a team to engage teachers in professional development to improve content, delivery, planning & pedagogical practices in a hybrid environment.

What you'll do:

  1. Architecting and continuously enhancing an AI-driven and hybrid learning ecosystem that measurably outpaces traditional education, backed by tangible gains in student achievement data.
  2. Introducing thought-leadership on best learning practices in Noon's hybrid learning environment.
  3. Leading the team to engage teachers in professional development to improve content, delivery, planning & pedagogical practices in a hybrid environment.
  4. Eliciting feedback from students to continuously improve the learning process challenges, and successes, using these insights to drive continuous improvement of the learning ecosystem.
  5. Supporting in evaluating the impact and outcomes of your solutions and iterating based on feedback and data.
  6. Collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and business operations leads to turning insights into hypotheses and translating them to make product and learning enhancements and deliver measurable impact for our students.
  7. Responsible for the "education strategy", curriculum design, and content development operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. At least a bachelor's degree ideally from a top-tier and well reputed university.
  2. Strong understanding of learning principles, pedagogical practices and data-driven educational approaches.
  3. Previous experience in an educational role, e.g. teaching, school administration, instructional / learning design, curriculum / content development, training, etc. will be preferred.
  4. Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  5. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  6. Fluent in English and Arabic.
  7. Highly emotionally intelligent - can quickly bond with stakeholders, e.g. teachers and gain their trust.
  8. Has a lot of drive - energy+determination to achieve something with barriers in the way and in unfamiliar territory.
  9. Passionate about technology and consumer-facing products, and can demonstrate that through personal projects or work experience.
  10. Proficient in using various tools and techniques to tell stories: sketches, videos, presentations, written documents. (Preferred)
  11. Experienced working in international team settings.
