Are you a Saudi National and an experienced Contract Manager with experience working on Construction projects, who is ready to lead on large-scale infrastructure development projects?

Our client, a major player in the region's development projects, is seeking a Senior Contract Manager to join their team in Jeddah. This role offers a significant opportunity to oversee and manage contracts for large-scale infrastructure and development projects, ensuring seamless execution from tender to post-contract stages. The role will report into a Director who is responsible for Design & Delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the tender process, working closely with the procurement team for the appointment of consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee the preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and administration of post-tender negotiations.
  • Administer and manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms, managing change requests, and controlling costs.
  • Maintain up-to-date insurance policies, bonds, and guarantees to ensure smooth contract operation.
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, and variation orders while providing accurate cost reports and cash flow projections.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams to identify and mitigate scope gaps, ensuring all contract requirements are met.
  • Lead prequalification processes for contractors and consultants, ensuring only the most qualified parties are selected.
  • Champion the development of policies and procedures for contract management and cost control.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Ideally 10+ years of experience in contract management, with a strong background in Construction projects and FIDIC Contracts
  • You must have experience with FIDIC Contracts AND experience within large-scale Construction projects - Essential requirement
  • Proven expertise in managing the entire contract process, from tendering to post-contract administration.
  • Strong experience in cost management, claims management, and project budget preparation.
  • Excellent knowledge of contract forms, tender procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders.
  • Saudi Nationals only

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in end-to-end contract management within real estate or infrastructure projects.
  • A background within contracts, quantity surveying or commercial contract management would be preferred
  • Certifications in project or cost management are preferred.
