Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager - Mechanical to join our esteemed team and play a crucial role in the development of an exceptional entertainment and leisure destination in Saudi Arabia. As the Senior Manager - Mechanical, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and implementing the delivery of the wet infrastructure design (potable water, waste water, storm water, and drainage), Lift Stations, Storage Tanks, Pump Stations, and Fire Network and MEP/FP for the supported facilities of the project conforming to the QIC guidelines, standards, specifications, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading, managing, and implementing the delivery of the wet infrastructure design (potable water, waste water, storm water, and drainage), Lift Stations, Storage Tanks, Pump Stations, and Fire Network and MEP/FP for the supported facilities of the project conforming to the QIC guidelines, standards, specifications, and requirements.
  • Manage the scope development and tendering process for the procurement and selection of design consultants as well as third-party reviewers.
  • Manage the consultant design scope of work contract and monitor progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day on-site operations and advise on technical, logistical, and administrative issues to ensure seamless asset delivery.
  • Oversee and monitor the contractors' and sub-contractors' activities to ensure successful completion of delivery as per contracts' requirements.
  • Maintain overall knowledge of design drawings, specifications, general contracts, budgets, and time schedules.
  • Manage the responses to design RFIs and review/comment on change orders.
  • Lead periodic meetings with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of the large festival grounds project.
  • Review weekly and monthly progress reports generated by the contractors and consultants and present them to project executives.
  • Manage quality assurance programs in coordination with QDC PMO to ensure delivery in accordance with agreed quality standards.
  • Manage Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs in coordination with QDC PMO to ensure worker safety and compliance with HSE construction requirements.
  • Provide the Project Controls team with detailed risk registers, cost reports, schedule reports, and general documentation to ensure accurate project control.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 15 - 20 years of infrastructure projects and building systems experience.
  • Strong knowledge in managing the design, review, development, and site construction of wet infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Strong knowledge of local and international codes and standards.
