The Government Relations Specialist is responsible for managing and facilitating the organizations interactions with government agencies and officials in Saudi Arabia. This role involves ensuring compliance with government regulations assisting with visa and work permit processes and maintaining strong relationships with government entities to support business operations.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and officials to facilitate effective communication and compliance with regulations.

Monitor changes in government policies and regulations and advise the organization on compliance strategies.

Coordinate and manage the processing of visas work permits and other necessary legal documents for expatriate employees.

Assist with the submission of regular reports and communications to government entities as required.

Represent the organization at meetings hearings and other events involving government bodies.

Negotiate and resolve any issues related to government regulations that may affect the organization.

Prepare and maintain records of interactions and transactions with government agencies.

Provide training and guidance to other departments on regulatory requirements and government procedures.

Develop strategies to enhance the organization s image and position within governmental circles.

Liaise with legal advisors to ensure all government interactions are conducted within the legal framework.



Requirements


Bachelor s degree in Political Science Public Administration Law or a related field.

Proven experience as a Government Relations Specialist or similar role particularly within Saudi Arabia.

Indepth knowledge of the Saudi government structure regulatory environment and business protocols.

Strong understanding of visa and work permit processes in Saudi Arabia.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.

Proficiency in Arabic and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
