Job Title: NDT Technician
Department: Quality Assurance / Inspection
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Overview: The NDT (NonDestructive Testing) Technician is responsible for conducting various nondestructive examinations to ensure the integrity and reliability of components and structures. This role requires a detailoriented individual with a strong technical background capable of using advanced NDT methods and adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct NonDestructive Tests:
- Perform NDT methods including but not limited to Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Penetrant Testing (PT) Radiographic Testing (RT) and Visual Inspection (VT).
- Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable codes standards and specifications.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting the techniques used findings and recommendations.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of inspections and tests for quality assurance and traceability.

Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment.
- Identify and rectify issues or malfunctions in testing equipment.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to company policies safety guidelines and legal regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in NDT technologies and methods.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other team members including engineers production personnel and other technicians to ensure timely execution of NDT services.
- Effectively communicate findings concerns and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in NDT technology is highly preferred.
- Certification in NDT methods relevant to the job (ASNT PCN or equivalent) based on the employer s requirements.
- Proven experience as an NDT Technician in a relevant industry.

Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems. Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
