Network Administrator

Prepare and present all juvenile cases to be adjudicated in juvenile court as overseen by the Chief Tribal Prosecutor on behalf of CTWS. Maintain confidentiality of all cases related matters, ensure all laws, codes, policies and procedures are up to date records and documents. Impartial and discretion are required with acceptable standards of conduct, integrity, judgment and ethics. Effectively communicate with juveniles, families, Tribal Court personnel, tribal, federal and state agencies. No felony or misdemeanor convictions w/in past 5 years to include no violations of tribal law; must be 21 years of age and older.

RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent; or an Associates Degree in a related field. Extensive background and work experience in dealing with troubled children and families may be substituted for associates degree. Three years related training or experience in working in a Tribal Court system. Pass tribal bar exam. Interpersonal, written and communication skills. Knowledge of tribal, federal and state laws, Indian Child Welfare Act, Rules of Court, Tribal Code and tribal judicial system, Demonstrate knowledge of patrol and investigation processes and procedures, gathering and securing evidence, case preparation and court presentation. Good investigative and report writing skills. Good communication skills in written and oral form. Knowledge of relevant customs and traditions of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Oregon, particularly those relating to child rearing practices, family relationships, etc. Essential computer and clerical skills. Understand basic legal concepts relevant to Warm Springs Juvenile Court and implement the provisions of the Warm Springs Rules of Court and Tribal Court.
