Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development activities to identify evaluate and select materials for use in our products and processes.
  • Perform materials characterization and testing including mechanical thermal chemical and microstructural analysis to assess material properties and performance.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering manufacturing and quality assurance to develop material specifications and ensure materials meet project requirements and standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve materialsrelated issues and challenges during product development production and service.
  • Evaluate new materials technologies and processes to identify opportunities for innovation cost reduction and performance improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including material specifications test reports and technical data sheets to support product development manufacturing and quality control activities.
  • Stay current with advances in materials science and technology industry trends and regulatory requirements and apply this knowledge to enhance our materials development and engineering capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility in materialsrelated activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in materials science or metallurgical engineering.
