**Job Purpose**

He is responsible for ensuring the Environment implementation and operation performance at region level, in addition to ensure all Environment legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the Environment implementation and operation performance at region level.
- Ensure all Environment legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted.
- Ensure that Environment personnel at region are suitably trained as per requirement
- Prepare project Environment (Environment policy, plan & work instructions) for new projects.
- Promote Environment Culture.
- Provides reference standards & client specifications for environment staff to support, strategic direction and guidance for Environment compliance infrastructure to support a safe growth of Environment policy value of the company.
- Work with team to develop effective Environment strategies to reduce contamination
- Assisting the team in addressing Environment concerns and questions related to project Environment Management System and applicable laws.
- Report promptly to the QHSE Director all matters related to verification scheme performance and regulatory compliance. And any other reasonable duties which may be required by QHSE Director from time to time.
- Ensure Client Approval for Environment Management Document & Template.
- Ensure that the Environment personal mobilization and demobilization and projects closing reports are fulfilled in the region projects.
- Participate with QA in internal audit of Environment management System and external audits for Suppliers and Sub-contractors.
- Identify the project KPIs & evaluate the Environment projects performance and relevant information to prepare regional monthly Environment reports to Regional & QHSE directors.
- Manage emergency & evacuation response as well as PME requirements related to project, facility, in coordination with project Environment managers and his team.
- Promote a positive Company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties.
- Facilitate similar project Environment Lessons Learned Work-Shop.

**Executive**
- Preparation and maintenance of Environment management Plans, procedures and work instructions for new project.
- Ensure projects Environment training conducted on time.
- Attend pre-job, planning and other client meetings as required..
- Provide projects with Environment staff hiring requirement.
- Provide projects with the environment inspection tools and equipment’s.
- Providing relevant Environment regulatory information.
- Act as the environment independent Body for projects level with clients and other stakeholders, to achieve Customer satisfaction by Implementing Environment operation procedures
- Retain appropriate documented information as evidence of regional Environment performance measurement and report to QHSE Director on time.
- Maintain regional Internal / External environment Audit System,
- Manage projects Non-compliance, aspect impact and issues within his region and escalate to QHSE Director.
- Ensure all waste operations subcontractor’s Environment Availability.
- Involve in evaluation and selection of subcontractors on the basis of their Environment performance.
- Provide Environment input for the bid proposals.
- Ensuring proper notification of all Environment incidents on time.
- Oversee pollution control programs and develop waste treatment and recycling procedure.
- Participate in monthly meetings when required.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by QHSE Director from time to time.
- Maintain Environment records with respect to repeated cases of non-conformity.
- Advice and support to all departments and to ensure EMS measures are in place to enable Environment programs to be effectively implemented.

**TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL**:

- Bachelor's degree in an Environment science is sufficient, or Scientific graduation with Back ground NEBOSH IGC ,IOSH MS ,or OSHA,
- Need to keep up-to-date on the latest government Environment regulations, as well as any new policies instituted by their employers, to ensure that rules continue to be followed. In addition, Environment scientists employ a lot of modern technology in their jobs. Therefore, they require familiarity with computer modeling, digital mapping, Geographic Information Systems and the like.
- Environment managers oversee Environment compliance for companies.
- They need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, like earth science or Environment studies, as well as adequate experience in their field. Besides being comfortable with Environment regulations, these professionals need to be organized, thorough with their reporting, and able to use computer programs needed for their field.
