As a Coating & Painting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of coatings and painting operations within our clients' projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the coating and painting process, from surface preparation to final inspection. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in achieving the desired protective coatings required for long-lasting performance in demanding environments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate project requirements and develop comprehensive coating and painting specifications
- Conduct thorough inspections of surfaces to be coated or painted and ensure proper preparation techniques are followed
- Supervise and coordinate coating and painting activities in compliance with project schedules and safety guidelines
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of coating and painting contractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify the effectiveness of applied coatings and identify any areas requiring remedial action
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, clients, and contractors regarding coating and painting best practices

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Coating & Painting Specialist in the Oil & Energy industry
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including NACE, SSPC, and ASTM
- Proficient in interpreting and analyzing coating specifications, paint systems, and material data sheets
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot coating and painting issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders
