**About Project and Development Services (PDS)**

**Role Purpose**

**What this job involves**
- Accountable for day to day delivery of building design and construction management tasks.
- Manage the post-contract phase to fulfil the specific requirements of the project.
- Manage the design teams in the development of design solutions to meet the client’s expectations and budget.
- Undertake technical design reviews and perform Value Engineering throughout the design process.
- Manage design through gateways in line with the contract and brief from the client.
- Fully manage and handle local government approvals process.
- Administer design contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions.
- Produce progress reports to suit relevant stages of the projects.
- Monitor and report on the contractor's progress against the contract program.
- Degree Qualification is essential.
- Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential.
- Experience in managing Design & Build Contracts.
- Experience in managing design for high rise building projects and 5 star Hotels in the region.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English.
- International safety qualification / recognition an advantage but not essential.
