**Position Summary**:
Jubail is one of Bechtel’s most remarkable achievements—a city built from the sand up, requiring vast resources and logístical planning on an unprecedented scale. It the biggest civil engineering project in modern times—and it's getting bigger. Bechtel has managed the Jubail project, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, since it began in the mid-1970s. Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company (SABCO) serves as the Management Services Contractor (MSC), or “owner’s representative” for our client, the Royal Commission (RC). We are the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) managers, managing design submissions from local AE firms, and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and sub-contractors in Jubail and Ras-Al-Khair Industrial Cities. In June 2021, Bechtel’s contract with the Royal Commission was renewed for another 5 years with work focusing on building new residential communities, iconic buildings/ bridges, major site preparation, commercial buildings, mosques, schools, hospitals, sports facilities, clinics, universities, utility services and infrastructure (electrical sub-stations, lift stations), roads and highways, port & pipeline expansions, and more.

**The work location can be Jubail or Ras-Al-Khair.**

**Major Responsibilities**:
The Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company (SABCO) College Hire Program in Jubail/Ras-Al-Khair provides recent university graduates with ambitious and hands-on experience to start their career. We offer the possibility to work facing genuine business problems and building specific technical skills through on-the-job learning.

As a participant in the SABCO College Hire Program, the trainee will rotate through functional departments to gain experience in all aspects of project execution. The trainee will spend a minimum of two (2) years rotating through functional departments:

- Construction (8 months)
- Engineering (8 months)
- Project Controls (3 months)
- Contracts (3 months)
- ES&H (3 months)

Upon successful completion of all rotations the trainee will assigned to a long-term position. The goal is to place the trainee in a position and department where he/she can begin to contribute right away. Organizational needs, employee performance reviews, and employee preference will all be considered when the position is assigned. Organizational needs at the time will outweigh other considerations.

The trainee will perform work, generally within one discipline, which involves but is not restricted to:

- Preparing, interpreting calculations, specifications and plans.
- Coordinating with Design Engineering on constructability issues.
- Participating in reviews on Technical Submittals, Technical Queries and Field Change Documents.
- Assisting in preparing technical reports.
- Assisting in evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors and preparing recommendations.
- Monitoring site survey, construction activities and preparing Daily Activity Report.
- Assisting in hold point inspection for structures, system or equipment.
- Assisting QA/Construction in preparation/reviewing of QA tools and Construction tools.
- Issuing QAN/non-conformance quality reports when defective items are identified.
- Assisting in preparation of forecast, quantity take-offs, change order and scheduling.
- Assisting in ES&H department in preparation/reviewing of ES&H tools.

**Skills and Qualifications**:
**Essential Technical**:

- Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university preferably in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical.
- Overall GPA score of 2.6 out of 4.0 (3.3 on a 5.0 scale)

**Essential Behavioral**:
