- **Work as a member of the Student Services team to provide high quality, consultative support for students, families and colleagues.**
- **Promote inclusion across the BISR campuses.**
- **Show a good understanding of working within a Middle-Eastern setting and the current issues facing school-aged students.**
- **Be aware of the ethical and professional guidelines pertaining to educational psychology.**
- **Have proven experience in working with children and young people in a school setting.**
- **Have excellent interpersonal skills, high levels of emotional intelligence and a good sense of humour, effectively collaborating within a range of teams.**
- **Fully support the school Mission, Vision and Motto.**
- **Go the extra mile for students, contributing to the wider life of the school, including the broad co-curricular programme and community events.**
- **Hold an appropriate UK or UK recognised qualification.**

**Teachers who work at BISR should have**:
**Qualifications**
- Qualified Teacher status.
- Certificate of Education - PGCE or B.Ed.
- Training or qualification relevant to the post.

- An appreciation of the importance of intercultural understanding and cultural sensitivity.

**Skills and Abilities**
