Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Project Manager - Interfaces for Utility Projects. **This person will be is responsible for managing and coordinating the interfaces between various stakeholders involved in utilities projects operating under a FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) Type Contract. This role ensures effective communication, collaboration, and coordination among project team members, contractors, subcontractors, clients, regulatory bodies, and other relevant parties to achieve project objectives within the specified contract framework.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Interface Management: Establish and maintain effective communication channels between different stakeholders involved in utilities projects, including project team members, contractors, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory bodies. Identify potential interface conflicts or issues and implement proactive measures to address them.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with the FIDIC Type Contract and associated contractual obligations related to interfaces. Monitor and evaluate project activities to ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions, specifically focusing on interface management requirements.
- Coordination and Collaboration: Facilitate effective coordination and collaboration among project participants to achieve project milestones and objectives. Regularly liaise with internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors to align project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential interface-related risks, such as conflicting requirements, dependencies, or scope gaps, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Work closely with the project team to ensure risks are properly assessed, communicated, and managed.
- Change Management: Assess proposed changes to project interfaces and evaluate their impact on project scope, timeline, and cost. Collaborate with the project team to implement necessary modifications to interface management plans, ensuring mínimal disruption to project progress.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of interface-related communications, agreements, and decisions. Prepare regular reports on interface management activities, progress, and issues encountered, providing updates to relevant stakeholders as required.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with project stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are managed effectively. Act as a point of contact for interface-related queries, concerns, and disputes, and work towards timely resolution.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures for interface management processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards, best practices, and project specifications. Monitor the effectiveness of interface management activities and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Lessons Learned: Capture and document lessons learned from interface management experiences for future projects. Share insights and best practices with the project team and contribute to the continuous improvement of interface management processes.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in project management, specifically in the utilities sector, with a focus on interface management.
- Solid understanding of FIDIC Type Contracts and associated interface management requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully managing interfaces in complex utilities projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and regulations related to utilities projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, FIDIC certification) are desirable.
