Laboratory and Water Quality Manager

**Overall Responsibilities**:
**Ensure that ‘Operational Excellence’ as well as the transformation of the branch into a ‘Customer-Focused Organization’ deliver the expected outcomes on water quality monitoring.**
- Overall responsibility and authority for ensuring the water quality monitoring
- Ensures that the facility and personnel are technologically updated and equipped as the need requires and within the budget requirements.
- Develop and implement a water and wastewater quality sampling and analysis program to provide reporting against relevant regulatory of drinking water, wastewater, sludge and environmental standards.
- Responsible for implementing and ongoing support for the Laboratory Information System.
- Approves and implements strategies, policies and programs to ensure the organization meets targets and compliant to applicable government regulations and standards.
- Implement certification against the requirements of ISO 17025 for all parameters identified in the Water and Wastewater Sampling and Analysis Program.
- Supervise teams and subcontractors in charge of monitoring the water quality, review team targets and requirements, steer monthly process meetings and follow up process targets.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation relating to water quality, including QAQC-related documents and audit-related documents. Ensure that all documents are up to date.
- Ensure monthly and annual reports of performance against Agreement KPIs, ECRA KPIs and performance indicators.
- Ensure good collaboration and interaction with entities and local authorities.
- Support the definition on H&S procedures and action plan and ensure they are implemented.

This is a permanent role.

**Profile**
- B.Sc. Engineering Degree
- Male/Female

**Experience**
- Senior Expert with 15 years of experience in the water sector and at least 10 years of experience in water quality monitoring and laboratory activities.

**Salary**: ﷼1.00 - ﷼2.00 per month
