**About the Role**:
The Legal Advisor will act as a key business partner to the Ferrero entity in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. The Legal Advisor will be involved in a diverse range of legal and compliance activities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and be part of the regional legal family reporting into the Region Legal Counsel.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Give accurate and timely counsel on a variety of legal topics (company law, competition law, data privacy law, labour law, commercial law, food law, marketing law, IP) within Saudi Arabia.
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations within Saudi Arabia and provide sound recommendations.
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, counter parties etc.), creating relations of trust.
- Handling the IPRs infringements and aligning with the IP team at the Region level and with the IP Centre as might be agreed from time to time; and reporting all issues related to counterfeits and Brand IP protection matters.
- Handling Food Law matters in coordination/ collaboration with the Region team and Central Food Law team.
- Monitoring the activities and ensuring that all licenses, Company’s contracts and legal requirements are in full compliance and met all the times.
- Defines, in alignment with Regional Counsel, the local budget and monitors the spending and cost trends, reporting to the Region/Area main variances
- Keeps informed all involved Functions on new legislation, Government regulations and case-law developments which might affect operations

**Who we are looking for**:

- Graduated from an accredited university with a Law degree.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a corporate legal department or law firm (Experience in both is preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communications skills both in Arabic and English (including legal drafting skills)
- Combine strong negotiation skills with a commercial, pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and maturity.
- Ability to effectively advise on risk mitigation and provide legal solutions that meet business objectives.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills (fluency in Arabic and English is a pre-requisite).
