Manager of Security, Safety and Transportation

**Job Purpose
- Manage the implementation, enhancement and administration of the Department safety management program, fire and life safety management program, plans, policies and procedures and other all work aspects of safety section.**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Manage, implements, coordinates, and assess hospital accident, fire prevention, and safety programs under general direction of the Engineering & Support Services director.
- Managing safety inspection program to identify safety hazards, routine healthcare facilities assessments to assess risks, incident investigations, close out of corrective actions and oversee all environmental rounds and evaluate workplace environments, equipment and practices in order to ensure compliance with safety standards, and regulations.
- Establish strategies risk management, managing and conducting internal safety audit programs, managing resources, and communicating with other hospital departments.
- Responsible for management of Safety Section FMS Department programs, plans, policy, procedures, training, and development a strong technical capabilities of the safety section.
- Provide technical and regulatory guideline to all KAAUH personnel and ensuring consistent regulatory compliance by using of the best safety practices in managing the risks of hazard to all patient, visitor, family and staff.
- Manage all new and current employee fire safety orientations and training, and assist in the development of materials relating to these presentations.
- Ensure that the facility is compliant with fire safety standard as required by the Saudi Civil Defines, Joint Commission International Standard for Accreditation and the Central Board for Accreditation for Healthcare institutions.
- Participates in providing plans to develop the department in coordination with the ATA.
- Serves on KAAUH committees as requested.
- Respects patients and their families to promote a patient-centred care culture. Participates I and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.Qualification and Experience
Minimum or Required: Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university. with 9 years of Experience.
Preferred: Master degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university. with 7 years of Experience.
