**About the team**:
Careem BIKE (a Careem Vertical) is now in Madinah KSA - introducing the first public network of electric bicycles and scooters. We are excited to help improve quality of life and encourage healthier living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Careem BIKE stations in Medina advance Saudi Arabia’s sustainability agenda which is being delivered through Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative. We are looking for talented colleagues to join us in this exciting journey.

**What you'll do**:
A **field technician I** handle on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs of a company's assets or equipment to ensure smooth day to day Bikeshare operations.
- Work with the rest of the operations team in ensuring Network’s Health is as per the set standards and KPIs; this includes Stations Connectivity and Bikes Availability by following daily operations plan and daily reporting. Daily assignments may include:

- Daily inspection of bike stations and bikes
- Drive around assigned areas to monitor bike availability across the network.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the stations’ Solar Panels
- Trouble-shooting and replacement of defective Parts using applicable standard tools and equipment; replace batteries whenever necessary.
- Discover and resolve issues that affect the system from the stations to the bikes
- Perform cabling, wiring of Power Connection to the Assets
- Respond to corrective maintenance requests as per your KPIs
- Perform various types of physical labor including moderate to heavy lifting, standing, and bending.
- Perform moves, adds, changes, and maintenance for bike stations
- You are expected to:

- Daily coordination / communication with Lead Field Technician, Operations Manager and Engineers to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to Careem Vehicle Policy.
- Adhere to safety protocols by implementing routine tests and guaranteeing accurate and safe equipment handling.
- Share reliable equipment recommendations
- Build strong working relationships with the Field team

**What you'll need**:
Minimum Requirements (mandatory)
- KSA- Driving License (clean) Minimum 2 year driving experience
- Minimum 2 Years of experience as Field Service Technician
- Ability to read, write, spell, and orally communicate clearly in English
- Able to ride a bicycle

Preferably:

- Technical degree, certification or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Flex, not just your muscles-you are willing and able to handle the on-call emergencies
- Time management skills
- Take responsibility for all actions and activities. Be self-motivated and team spirited: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a professional team.
