**Job Title**: Trainee Performance Coach (Saudi Nationals only)

**Reports to**: Performance Coach

**Job Overview**:
The Trainee Performance Coach position offers a remarkable opportunity to work closely with the Performance Coach, contributing to the implementation and delivery of strategies aimed at enhancing individual and group performance within the educational setting. This role involves supporting the Performance Coach in delivering a broad, differentiated curriculum and fostering an environment conducive to students' personal and academic growth. The Trainee will actively engage in various teaching and learning activities and contribute to the holistic development of students under the guidance of the Performance Coach.

**Responsibilities**:
**Supporting Performance Improvement Strategies**:

- Collaborate with the Performance Coach in providing individual performance reviews for students within designated cohorts.
- Assist in planning and executing personalized performance improvement strategies aligned with Personal Learning Plans (PLPs).
- Work closely with learners to identify areas for performance enhancement and implement timely remedial actions.

**Assessment and Individual Development**:

- Engage with students during learning sessions to identify areas of improvement and provide necessary support.
- Collaborate with the Performance Coach and other specialists to develop performance enhancement strategies for underperforming students.
- Provide assistance and support to other identified learners as directed.

**Collaboration and Curriculum Support**:

- Work alongside curriculum delivery teams to identify opportunities for students to enhance their performance.
- Assist in assessing personal development needs and ensure they are met within students' Personal Learning Plans (PLPs).

**Teaching Assistance**:

- Support the educational needs of students, including assisting in setting and marking work carried out by students.
- Collaborate in using effective teaching strategies appropriate to students' needs and syllabus requirements.
- Assist in assessing, recording, and reporting on students' progress, development, and attainment.

**Quality Assurance and Administration**:

- Contribute to the implementation of quality procedures and aid in monitoring and evaluating the faculty against performance criteria.
- Maintain accurate records and provide relevant information for the college's management information system.
- Communicate effectively with parents and external bodies as necessary and in accordance with college policies.

**Resource Management and Support**:

- Contribute to identifying resource needs and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure effective resource usage and management.

**Other Duties**:

- Engage actively in the college's self-review, evaluation, and appraisal processes.
- Comply with the college's procedures concerning safeguarding and ensure necessary training is accessed.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or equivalent, or related field experience.
- Experience in supporting student learning and development, preferably in educational settings with ages 16+.
- Familiarity with digital learning environments and proficiency in working with digital devices.
- Experience in formative assessment and collaboration within an integrated curriculum.
