Functions as the CH47 Training Coordinator under the direction of the Program Training Manager. Directly responsible for all aspects of training, record-keeping requirements, and training reports for both the RSLFAC CH-47 personnel and PSI contractor personnel. Responsible for the accountability and progress of on-the-job mentorship training for RSLFAC soldiers.

**Duties/responsibilities**:

- Under general direction, organize, prepare, and conduct complex training and educational programs at the assigned location:

- Work on all phases of training
- Participate in needs analysis studies to determine training needs
- Confer with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies
- Develop, plan, coordinate, and train assigned maintenance personnel to include ground handling and special interest items as directed by the Program Training Manager.
- Responsible for new hire employee initial training, including the make-up of training records, and certifying initial core tasks as outlined by the Program Training Manager prior to releasing them to their section supervisors.
- Ensure that all necessary training documentation is completed and maintained as required by customer and PSI directives
- Audit training records ensuring all required training documentation is current and correct
- May be required to work day shift, swing shift, and/or weekend shift as required to ensure all shifts receive identical training requirements to perform their jobs
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Skills and Experience**:

- Two (2) or more years of experience providing training support
- Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
- Ability to facilitate and present course material of a technical nature
- Excellent writing, editing, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and presentation required
- Strong organizational skills to oversee multiple work assignments
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented individual with organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
- Possess a valid issued driver's license.
- Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.

**Education**: High School diploma or equivalent training and experience required.

**Other**:

- Should Executive Order 14042 be reinstated, proof of COVID-19 vaccination as defined by the order or an approved accommodation will be required
- Must be a US Citizen

**PREFERENCES**:

- Previous experience working with military organizations preferred
- Previous experience in curriculum development and revision is preferred
- Associates Degree in Aviation Management
- FAA A&P certificate
- Instructor / Trainer Certification (Military)
