Marine Surveyor

Local Unit & Position Description:
**2-3 years of experience in the offshore or marine industry** to join our team of
**surveyors** in the
**Kingdom of Saudi Arabia**.

As a DNV
**Surveyor**, you will mainly be carrying out:

- Surveys onboard mobile offshore units as well as ships in operation at shipyards and offshore locations.
- Travel and offshore work should be expected as well as attending vessels in Bahrain.
- Ensure that the work or duties performed are in accordance with the Rules, Regulations, Instructions, Guidelines and quality requirements of the organization and the instructions of the line management.
- Maintain the confidentiality of clients' business, processes, designs, developments, and documentation always.
- When applicable, to supervise the work of third parties and ensure that it is carried out as above and in an efficient and economic cost-saving manner.
- Attend training courses and qualification training abroad as per global training plans.
- Exhibit customer-oriented focus through promoting DNV onboard or on-site, and by acting as a technical resource for customer questions.
- To support or work as Key Account Managers (KAM) handling Business development with defined customers if required.

The position reports to the Country Manager.

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in **Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering** from a Technical University
- Approximately **2- 3 years of offshore experience with Jack-up rigs and/or marine industry experience**:

- ** Mobile offshore experience**:

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-driven and highly engaged professional
- Quick learner and data smart and problem-solving attitude
- Thrive in a collaborative environment
- Analytical, structured and systematic
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Availability to travel
