Based on the Yanbu Industrial City Program, Saudi Arabia Parsons Limited (SAPL) are looking to hire a **Principal Scheduler. **The role will be based in the Project Management Department of the overall Program and will report to the Project Controls Section Manager.

As the overall workload within the Program intensifies, SAPL is growing and developing its Team to meet the demands. The **Principal Scheduler **role is a key part of the successful operation of the Project Management Department in meeting these demands.

Major activities performed in this role will include (but not limited to):

- Developing and monitoring projects schedules
- Sequencing
- Interfacing with other projects and SAPL Departments
- Developing milestone activities
- Develop and monitor pre-award schedules
- Assist in RFP review and bid evaluation as required
- Review, analyze and recommend approval / disapproval disposition of project schedules.
- Manpower loading
- Cost loading
- Resource planning
- Summarize detailed project schedules for incorporation in the PMD RAM
- Identifying where schedules are not being met and proposing solutions
- Trending and forecasting
- Preparing scheduling presentation materials
- Review and assist in the resolution of claims, invoicing and back charges.

Any applicants must possess the following qualifications, credentials and experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / other related field
- A minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in the industry with a minimum of 7 years as a Planning Engineer / Scheduler
- PMP or similar certified
- Fully conversant with MS Office Software as well as Primavera Software
- Exposure to multiple large and complex construction projects
- Will have worked within a Project Management Consultancy or 1st Tier Main Contractor

Furthermore we require applicants with Middle East experience, operating in large and culturally diverse teams with the ability to communicate fluently in English.
