**GENERAL PURPOSE**

**A leading Maritime Company in the oil & gas industry is seeking an experienced HSE Manager who will**:

- Assure implementation and appropriate follow-up for the company HSE policy.
- Provide safe working practices and risk assessments for all company activities and define appropriate control measures and ensure proper implementation when perform on-board the company fleet.
- Plan and implement annual internal audit plan and follow up NC reports with proposed corrective actions to ensure implementations and close up.
- Implement annual management review and provide all performance statistics related to safety standards and legislations and present SMS evaluation reports for the top management.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assure implementation and appropriate follow-up for the company HSE policy.
- In direct contact with the company sites to provide all necessary technical support to ensure appropriate implementation of all IMS procedures and requirements.
- Ensure appropriate crew interaction and awareness with operations and maintenance on-board on safety requirements and company procedures.
- Provide safe working practices and risk assessments for all company activities and define appropriate control measures and ensure proper implementation when performed on-board the company sites.
- Plan and implement annual internal audit plan and follow up NC reports with proposed corrective actions to ensure implementations and close up.
- Ensure appropriate detailed and timely reporting of all incidents and near misses including investigation and identification of root causes and provide required preventive /corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Implement annual management review and provide all performance statistics related to safety standards and legislations and present IMS evaluation reports.
- Follow-up safety equipment’s on-board the company fleet to ensure all equipment’s is fully maintained in good and proper working condition.
- Evaluate and provide the required annual budget related to the HSE department.
- Issue and improve safety documents and forms consisting of best practices.
- Ensure all ERT will communicate in emergency situations in a timely manner and follow up implementation of ERT recommendations and decisions.
- Collecting data and information for all new requirements, legislation and laws related to safety.
- Follow up and ensure proper execution for annual drills plan and training on-board units are provided and in satisfaction manner.

**QHSSE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the organization’s policy commitments and other applicable Arrangements related to its QHSE management system.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Take reasonable care not to put other people - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk from what they do or don't do in the course of their work.
- Notify their line manager about any health, safety, or environmental concerns they have.
- Suggest improvements and being active in the general improvement of all Systems and methods of work to ensure Company operations are carried out in a personally and environmentally safe, reliable, and cost-effective way.

**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION**:
B.Sc. in engineering \ marine.

**KNOWLEDGE**:

- Very Good knowledge of HSE Standards & Diving Standards. (OSHA, NEBOSH, NIOSH, IOSH, IMCA, IOGP, ISO, SMS, etc....)

**EXPERIENCE**:
Not less than 6 years’ experience in oil & gas \ offshore services operations field.

**SKILLS**:

- Excellent English.

- Excellent Presentation Skills.
- Leadership Skills.
- Computer Proficiency.
- Decision Making & problem-Solving Skills.

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Have proper training in safety management and environment protection.
- Good knowledge in maritime and local laws and legislations requirement.
