WSP Middle East are seeking an exceptional Senior Design Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead the design and execution phases.

The Senior Design Manager / Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design and project management aspects of our iconic hospitality project in Sharaan. This role requires a highly experienced professional with a proven track record in managing complex, high-profile projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project meets its design vision, quality standards, and delivery milestones.
**Your new role, what's involved?**
- **Design Leadership**: Lead and coordinate the design process from conceptualization through to final execution. Ensure that design objectives align with client expectations and project requirements.
- **Project Management**: Oversee all aspects of project management including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- **Team Coordination**: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and consultants. Foster collaboration and ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.
- **Client Liaison**: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure the highest standards of quality in design and construction. Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain project integrity and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- **Innovation**: Promote innovative design solutions and construction methods that enhance the project's sustainability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
- **Reporting**: Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation as required

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**: Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) are highly desirable.
- **Experience**: At least 12 years of experience in design management or project management within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry, with a strong portfolio of large-scale, high-profile projects, particularly in hospitality.
- **Skills**:

- Proven expertise in managing complex projects with a focus on high-end hospitality design.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management and design software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit).
- **Language**: Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
