Key Responsibilities:
- Developing strategic plans to encourage business growth.
- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for new contracts.
- Bid on new projects and negotiate contract terms.
- Develop a strong relationship with different departments to ensure everyone is working toward the same targets and goals.
- Use analytics to create action plans based on data and statistics and interpret results against targets.
- Financial planning and budgeting is an essential aspect of this job.
- Risk assessments and pricing structures to work toward commercial efforts.
- Assess risks and make recommendations based on analysis of all factors affecting a business situation.
- Responsible for overseeing staff, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Make sure stakeholders adhere to and understand contractual obligations and determine when processes violate regulations.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
- Utilize experience and knowledge of supplier relationships and contract management to drive efficiencies in the supply chain.
- Require knowledge and experience in pre and post-contract management and procurement within commercial contract management in the transport and logistic sector.
- Working as part of projects and programs to deliver the strategic aims of their designated portfolios.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or any related field
