At AESG we are looking for a Commissioning Inspector to join our Commissioning team and work alongside our other specialist disciplines based in our Riyadh office.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Commissioning Inspector seeking an exciting role within a growing and ambitious company with a unique service offering.

**Job purpose**

As part of a multi-discipline project team representing AESG, conduct site inspections and verify the tested results are correct.

Develop knowledge about commissioning processes and test procedures in engineering discipline and demonstrate an ability and willingness to learn.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist senior personnel in carrying out commissioning activities
- Develop knowledge in chosen discipline and how different systems interact in buildings
- Conduct site inspections in selected discipline
- Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice
- Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice
- Report issues found to senior team members in a clear, accurate and concise manner
- Liaise with contractors commissioning team in professional manner
- Carry out site observations with respect to quality of installation
- Monitor installation, submittals and use of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines
- Assisting with tracking completion of tasks and preparing lookahead documents
- Keep daily diary of events and activities under your control, including systems inspected, documents reviewed, and any decision made by authorities on site
- Strong positive communication skills
- Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in tasks
- Able to observe and follow directions by senior personnel
- Works well as part of a multi-discipline team
- Demonstrate an ability to progress and develop knowledge
- Able to read and understand technical documents
- Able to review and verify technical data in hardcopy and electronic format
- Skilled in use of Microsoft desktop publishing software
- Able to independently carry out site inspections to a high standard
- Able to determine whether test procedures and recorded test results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice

**Essential Skills**:
Education
- MEP / Building Services Engineering Degree
- BSc Mechanical Engineering
- BSc Electrical Engineering
- BSc Building Services Engineering
- MEP / Building Services Engineering College Diploma
- HNC, HND or equivalent
- MEP / Building Services Engineering College Certificate
- ONC, OND or equivalent
- MEP Trade Time Served + City & Guilds Certificate

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience + Engineering Degree OR
- Minimum 3 years of job-related experience + College Diploma OR
- Minimum 4 years of job-related experience + College or Trade Certificate

Industry Accreditations:

- Incorporated Engineer, desirable but not essential
- CSA Grade 3 qualified, desirable but not essential
- Commissioning certification such as BCA, ACG or NEBB, desirable but not essential
