**Job Summary**

The General Manager UR KSA is responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of United Rotorcraft KSA’s business, including talent management, customer experience, operational performance and financial deliverables in line with corporate objectives. This role will be responsible for developing and nurturing local relationships with key stakeholders in the region, and for ensuring corporate reporting is performing timely and reliably.

**Employment Type**

18 month initial contract, with the potential of additional recurring 18 month contracts.

**Operational Excellence requirements include the following**:

- The accountable manager for all United Rotorcraft operations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
- Achieve and exceed financial goals and targets pertaining to the UR KSA business entity
- Create, own, and adhere to organizational budgets
- Provide scheduled business status updates/dashboard to USA Executive team
- Be the main contact between prime vendor regarding all facility needs and repairs
- Manage all employee travel arrangements, housing, and in country transportation
- Own the hiring and training of all teammates
- Manage the capacity planning, and S&OP activities
- Manage and provide scheduled and unscheduled teammate feedback
- Supervise the day-to-day operations, providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.

**Safety & Quality**
- Implement and manage an effective Safety Management System (SMS) and proactive safety culture including continual monitoring and improvements of all risks to As Low As Reasonably Practical (ALARP). Maintain an ongoing risk assessment and hazard register.
- Responsible for being the on-site facilitator of all (Emergency Response Plan) ERP duties and responsibilities supported by the Quality and Safety team in the USA
- Ensure the continual highest quality of aircraft maintenance practices and results are delivered from the facility
- Own and manage the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process for the operation

**Customer Experience**
- Own all customer communications and the customer experience
- Support business development efforts to contribute to the business’ top line growth
- Establish performance review cadence with key customers to ensure flawless communications and optimal customer experience

**Other duties as required including but not limited to;**
- Responsible for managing payroll, local and state tax and regulatory requirements and POC for authorities and ministries in country
- Ownership of the invoicing to the customer and management of all UR KSA banking

**Additional Job Requirements**
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling - 10%

Subject to applicable laws and United Rotorcraft policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position. All employees must follow United Rotorcrafts’ employment practices and policies.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

Directly supervises employees in United Rotorcraft KSA department. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. For Exempt Managers: Managers that carry out these responsibilities for two or more employees will have significant input in hiring and termination decisions.

**Location**

**This position is located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and will require the ability to obtain KSA residency.**

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and seven or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years professional experience in aviation/aerospace management
- Experience working internationally and preferably in the Middle East or with Middle Eastern companies
