**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Category Management**:

- Own and manage the end-to-end product category, including product assortment, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- Conduct regular market research to identify emerging trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs within the category and tailor strategies to meet those needs effectively.
- **Product Curation and Selection**:

- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to curate a diverse and appealing assortment of products within the category.
- Evaluate new product opportunities based on market trends, customer demand, and competitive landscape.
- Maintain a balanced mix of core products, seasonal offerings, and innovative items to meet customer expectations.
- **Pricing and Promotion**:

- Implement pricing strategies that align with market trends, competitive positioning, and company objectives.
- Monitor pricing changes across the category and make adjustments as needed to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, discounts, and special offers to drive sales and customer engagement.
- **Content Management**:

- Collaborate with the content team to create accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and other content to enhance the online shopping experience.
- Ensure that product listings are optimized for search engines and provide relevant information to customers.
- **Sales and Performance Analysis**:

- Analyze sales data, conversion rates, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the category.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the category and make data-driven decisions.
- **Vendor Relationships**:

- Cultivate strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms, and managing product sourcing and supply chain logistics.
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain exclusive products, early releases, and other advantageous offerings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in ecommerce, retail, or related industry with a focus on category management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in using ecommerce platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and identify innovative solutions.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
