The Digital Pathology Application Consultant for Leica Biosystems is responsible for involving providing compelling technical solutions and articulating their value to customers. This includes conducting a thorough assessment of the customer's current state, understanding the impact on their objectives, and discussing future state ambitions. Utilizing tools such as floor plan mapping and IT scoping, the role requires designing optimal hardware and software solutions for successful implementation.
In the Presales domain, the focus is on driving opportunities through the sales funnel by leading Need Finding, Current/Future State Analysis, Solution Design, and presentation to both internal and external stakeholders. Regular interaction with opportunity owners and participation in regional reviews are crucial aspects.
Within the Informatics realm, responsibilities include auditing the customer's IT ecosystem, advising on improvements, and discussing topics like PACS, DICOM, data security, and system integration. Obtaining buy-in from important customer IT stakeholders and presenting the Informatics component of the solution are key tasks.
Throughout these responsibilities, effective communication, and collaboration with various customer stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, are essential for successful solution deployment and sales.
This position is part of the EMEA Digital Pathology organization located in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Presales Responsibilities:_
- _ Lead the deployment of standard work tools for opportunities, guiding them through the sales funnel by conducting Need Finding, Current/Future State Analysis, and Solution Design. Maintain regular interaction with account owners and actively participate in monthly regional reviews._
- Informatics Responsibilities:_
- _ Conduct comprehensive audits of customers' IT ecosystems, advising on necessary improvements and steps to align with their desired solutions. Obtain buy-in from crucial customer IT stakeholders, addressing technical objections, and present the Informatics component, explaining its contribution to achieving the customer's solution._
- Applications Responsibilities:_
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- Experience in or knowledge of Histopathology lab
- Knowledge of Mirth, HL7 bidirectional and unidirectional LIS integration
- Knowledge of the role PACS, DICOM, Integration and Archival plays in hospitals and labs
- Proven ability to learn in technical areas with limited previous experience
- Fluency in English & Arabic
- Ability to evaluate customer needs and selectively ‘sell’ and support benefits of a product/service
- Ability to identify product improvements and effectively communicate their benefits to the development teams
- Strong communication skills to successfully convey solutions to customers during presentations, take resistant customers/colleagues through the need finding journey and reinforcing the overall benefit
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- _ Selling/Familiarity with Digital Pathology scanners to diagnostic accounts._
