**What will your main responsibilities be**
- Design and Develop Automation Systems: Create and implement automated solutions for production, manufacturing, or service processes to improve efficiency and reduce human intervention.
- Programming and Software Development: Write and test code for automated systems, using programming languages like Python, Java, or C++, and design software interfaces to control the automation process.
- System Integration: Integrate automation systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring that different components (e.g., robotics, machinery, and software systems) work seamlessly together.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues with automation systems, ensuring mínimal downtime and ensuring proper maintenance schedules are followed.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work with production, engineering, and IT teams to ensure the automation systems meet the company’s goals and requirements.
- Process Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve automated systems for performance, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of system designs, tests, and performance evaluations. Report on system performance, modifications, and improvements.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all automation systems comply with industry standards and regulations, with a focus on operational safety and minimizing risks.
- Training and Support: Train team members and operators on using automated systems and provide ongoing support to troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Research and Development: Stay up to date with the latest automation technologies and advancements, suggesting and implementing improvements to the company’s processes.
**What you need to succeed**
**Experiences & Qualifications**
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical, automation, mechatronics or electronics.
- 3+ years of maintenance, repair and project experience, preferably with FMCG industry experience.
**Skills**
- Hardware and Software expected capabilities.
- Siemens Scada and PLC (TIA Portal and WinCC must)
- Allen Bradley PLC (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Safety)
- Industrial Network Management; IP assignment and management, Network Situation Analysis
- OPC Server - Kepware (Optional)
- SQL Database Management (Optional)
- Driver Installation and Commissioning (VSD)(AB, Siemens, ABB, etc.)
- Servo Motor and Motion Control Systems (AB, Sew, Rexroth, Siemens, etc.)
- Visual detection and barcode reading solutions with industrial camera (Cognex, Sick, Keyence, etc.) (Optional)
- HMI’s (Siemens, AB)
- Coding Machines Maintenance and Configuration (Linux, Markem Imaje, etc.)
- Safety Equipment Usage and Configuration (Safety switches, Relays, Controllers)
- Mastery of robot systems (ABB &Kuka)
