**2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE**:
**Ensuring emergency preparedness through planning, organising and directing resources in the face of operational/asset related incidents for the purposes of maintaining control, protecting people safety, and minimising the impact of the incident**

**3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:
**Qualification**:
**1. National Diploma (Environment related)**
**2. Specialised licences or certifications**
**3. Bachelors' Degree in Environmental Science (highly preferred)
**Experience**:
**1. 10 Years relevant experience**

**Execute, oversee the testing and maintenance of emergency response equipment**
**Manage and coordinate Proactive risk assessment methodology for identification of potential emergency situations**
**Manage and advice Audit and assure the quality of implemented standards**
**Manage and advice Affiliate and Emergency Response plans test**
**Execute and advice assessment of emergency response plans at a Corporate level**
**Manage and advice the review of emergency response plans and drills at an Affiliate level (HCIS)**
**Ensure and advice ER integrated in stage gate process**
**Provide support to projects for Emergency response plans and activities through life cycle of project**
**Manage the provision of technical support for emergency planning and response**
**Execute the provide technical advice regarding fire systems**
**Manage and advice the participate in the investigation of fire accidents that occur in all Affiliates**
**Support and report drills to key stakeholders when required**
