HSE Officer will play a critical role in promoting and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for employees and contractors. The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and overseeing safety and environmental programs, conducting inspections, and providing guidance to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safety Program Management**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

**Training and Education**:

- Provide safety training to employees and contractors on a regular basis.
- Develop and update training materials to address specific job hazards and safety protocols.
- Ensure that all personnel are informed about emergency procedures and response plans.

**Incident Investigation**:

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective measures.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay current with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Ensure the organization's compliance with local, national, and international safety and environmental requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities as needed.

**Risk Assessment**:

- Conduct risk assessments for various activities and processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Implement measures to minimize workplace hazards.

**Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Conduct drills and exercises to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and emergency services.

**Safety Communication**:

- Communicate safety-related information and updates to all levels of the organization.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability among employees.
- Address safety concerns and encourage reporting of hazards.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Prepare regular reports on safety performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Present safety-related information to management and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Professional certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HSE Officer in industrial or construction settings.
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼12,000.00 per month
