**Job Purpose**:
A Rotating Equipment Engineer is responsible consultancy, analytical studies and strategic resolution that enhance and improve the plant safety, reliability and maintainability of rotating equipment.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Enhance site machinery assets performance by providing technical recommendations. This is accomplished via to:

- Supporting RCM studies.
- Conducting Asset Life Assessment.
- Conducting defect elimination studies.
- Identifying, analyzing and providing mitigation actions for Machinery Threats.
- Engages and provides technical support in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Major A/I investigations, as applicable.
- Investigate and troubleshoot critical machinery persisting equipment low performance and/or failures through the existing management system
- Technical assurance to EHSS critical, operational critical equipment maintenance activities (routine PM, major overhauling, Major Project, TA
- Provide support (e.g. scope) and technical assurance to EHSS critical, operational critical equipment maintenance activities (routine PM, major overhauling, Major Project, TA).
- Consistently monitor critical machinery equipment performance, mechanical integrity and provide timely recommendations to ensure sustain excellent performance.
- Initiate machinery equipment projects and provide technical support and assurance in the assigned projects covering all phases.
- Participate in risk assessments related/impacting machinery equipment. This includes assessment of PM deferral requests.
- Create optimum maintenance strategies / guidelines for machinery equipment not covered under APM methodologies and ensure their utilization in setting maintenance plans and tasks.
- Provide support to maintenance for fixing inventory levels for Critical machinery spare parts.
- Establish and maintain network with critical machinery equipment OEM and key machinery equipment maintenance vendors.
- Provide technical awareness training (awareness sessions, formal training and campaigns,..,etc.) to enhance the technical knowledge of other engineers, specialists and front liners with regard to machinery equipment design, operations and maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical engineering degree from recognized and reputed university.
- Relevant +5 years of experience in the design, operation, maintenance & troubleshooting of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, expander and related machinery, within industrial settings.
- Industry Standards and Codes: Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, such as API standards, NEMA, and ISO specifications related to the design, fabrication, and operation of rotating machinery.
- Reliability Engineering: Understanding of reliability engineering principles, failure analysis techniques, and asset management practices to optimize the performance and reliability of rotating equipment.
