**Atkins are looking for a Senior Aviation Architect in Riyadh & Jeddah, KSA.**

Senior Aviation Architect is a highly skilled and experienced architect who specializes in the design and planning of airports, air traffic control towers, and other aviation-related facilities. Their job is to ensure that these facilities meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
- The main responsibilities of a Senior Aviation Architect include:

- Designing and overseeing the construction of airports and other aviation facilities, including runways, taxiways, and aircraft maintenance facilities.
- Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
- Developing design plans and architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Conducting site visits to assess the feasibility of proposed projects and to identify any potential issues.
- Managing project teams and delegating tasks to junior architects and designers.
- Ensuring that all projects comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental regulations.
- Conducting research and staying up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements.
- Presenting designs and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Mentoring and training junior architects and designers.

**Requirements**:

- 8+ years of relevant industry experience Bachelor’s degree in Architecture International work experience with Middle East background preferred
