**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the preparation, production, and plating of all desserts, pastries, and baked goods within your assigned section, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Pastry Sous Chef and Head Pastry Chef to develop new dessert items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
- Manage and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of your assigned station, ensuring all tools, equipment, and ingredients are readily available.
- Supervise and mentor junior pastry staff within your section, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure the consistent quality of all pastries and desserts produced in your section, adhering to taste, texture, appearance, and portion standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for your section, ensuring proper rotation of stock and minimizing waste.
- Assist in managing food costs for your section, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in your section, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Will be ready and available to start by August - September 2024
- Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Pastry Commis or Demi Chef de Partie, with a demonstrated expertise in various pastry techniques.
- Strong pastry skills, including baking, decorating, and plating. Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor pairings. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training with a focus on pastry is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ﷼3,500.00 - ﷼4,000.00 per month
