**JOB SUMMARY**
As a psychologist at a leading rehabilitation center in Saudi Arabia plays a crucial role in assessing and treating mental health disorders, providing therapy, and working closely with medical professionals, including physicians and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical and psychological conditions and develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments of patients to identify and diagnose mental health disorders, with a focus on conditions that may impact the rehabilitation process.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family therapy, to address patient needs related to their rehabilitation.
- Providing short-term and long-term psychotherapy to patients, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders, as they relate to the rehabilitation process.
- Conducting psychological testing and administering standardized assessments to measure patient progress and treatment effectiveness in the context of rehabilitation.
- Participating in case conferences, team meetings, and other collaborative forums to discuss patient care and share expertise with other healthcare professionals.
- Staying current with advancements in the field of psychology, with a focus on rehabilitation and related mental health issues, and translating new knowledge and best practices into the development of treatment plans.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the ongoing evaluation and enhancement of center services related to mental health care.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education**
- Bachelor of Psychology from a reputable educational institution
- Master's degree in psychology.
- Dataflow is a must.
- Licensure or certification as a psychologist, with eligibility for registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
**Professional Experience**
- +3 years of clinical experience in providing psychological services in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
**Language**
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
