**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY**:

- Repair \test NOV mechanical equipment at NOV facility or customer facility \sites as instructed by line management considering optimized time and cost, within working hours or extra hours (as required by operations).Ensure proper function test after repair. Ensure that the equipment is safe to use after repair.
- Preform all maintenance levels for NOV mechanical equipment at NOV facility as instructed by line management considering optimized time and cost, within working hours or extra hours (as required by operations).Ensure proper function test after maintenance. Ensure that the equipment issafe to use after maintenance
- Provide technical support in the field to aid customers and resolve technical problems incurred in the installation or operation of NOV mechanical equipment,(as required by line management)
- Able to handle his tasks in a timely manner considering NOV quality policy(Do it right from first time and every time).Register hisworkon daily basis for (maintenance
epairs),with all details (serial number, model, engine hrs, km, scope of work with pictures ), in the online tracking folder for maintenance history
- To read or track maintenance history (if available)before starting to his repairs or maintenance tasks
- Request necessary parts to do his tasks including part numbers and clear descriptions
- To communicate with NOV procurement \suppliers to follow up and make sure that parts are ordered and will arrive on time. Make sure parts are in good quality when received
- To do his job in a safe way. Ask his manager to renew his safety courses when expired
- Availability for emergency situations and respond constructively to unexpected changes
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping for his workplace all time
- Engage in any other activities as requested by line management
- Update Kronos on a daily basis for himself
- Communicate with NOV engineering team to support, after doing all possible steps of troubleshooting on local level first
- Able to get required technical information NOVWIRE
- Contribute in reporting of parts shortages (specially NOV part numbers with long lead time)
- Positively response to business decisions by line management, which deems to be in the interest of the company and aftermarket operations
- Integration into the work team and sharing information and technical expertise
- Proper and efficient communication with line management
- To keep hand tools and power tools in the shop in good condition.
- **BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least 10 years as a mechanic in oil & gas industry
- Good Troubleshooting skills
- Good Remote Troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
- Basic understanding of electrical components -basic electrical circuits
- Able to absorb customer frustration
- Able to work beyond working hours as required by operations
- Must have driving license to drive to customer sites \facility or drive to supplier facility.(as needed).
- **Qualifications:(Education/No. of Years of Experience**:

- At least 10 years’ experience in mechanical units repair and maintenance
- English is a must
- Maintain and reinforce quality standards
- Master technicians courses (MT) with Scania GB.Maintain and repair hydraulic systems. Wireline 1,2&3.Reliable Vehicles In-house Technical Training Course. NVQ Vehicle mechanical and electronic systems maintenance,
- Perform duties in a safe manner to prevent injury to yourself and your co-workers Strictly following NOV standards for safetyComply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
