Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Work closely with leadership to develop a companys short
- and long-term goals, and then plans logistics strategically to enable the company to achieve those goals.
Lead and Identify business systems & tools needed through process and technology to implement process improvement, drive best operational practices and efficiencies in professional warehousing, healthy inventory management, etc.
Lead development and implementation of solutions to 3PL clients logistics, support business challenges with current logistics, support functions, customers, and suppliers in order to monitor the performance gaps and communicate the corrective actions to the concerned stakeholders and support in implementing it.
Develop and implement logistics plans inclusive of supplier contracts, routing guidelines, problem resolution, cost containment and all related budgets.
Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to group logistics planning/forecasting through the processes annual update to ensure optimization.
Manage the relationship with the clients through continuous communications and visits in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and to retention.
Lead the budget and P&L exercises in all related functions (Process Excellence, regional warehouses, etc.) through the cascading of the overall operations budget to ensure budget proper allocation and execution.
Support in the development of all Operations Governance with its related processes, policies, procedures, systems and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in order to establish sustainable and standard Operations environment in collaboration with all stakeholders (internally/externally).
Evaluate the organizations logistics supply chain performance against projected costs and timelines and coordinate activities across all units of the organization to ensure successful execution of logistics support on integrated projects.
Manage and develop the performance of the operational teams through providing performance feedback, appraisal and conversations, coachingetc. to ensure the achievement of the departments objectives and to ensure the career development of the assigned team, as well as attracting and retaining talented individual to the team.
Control the Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) and policies implementation by tracking the key performance indicators (KPI's), measures and conducting quality checks to ensure the proper management of companys facilities and to maintain a safe working environment to employees.
Lead operational data collection, consolidation, and visualization to support him/her in making accurate business decisions.
Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.
