**Job Description - Turnaround Job Leader
**Knowledge/skills, education, and experience**:

- Degree Holder: A minimum 12+ years experience in Refinery or petrochemical maintenance and including Turnaround events. Participated in minimum 2 T/A cycles at different roles with 3+ years leadership capacity.
- Non-Degree Holder: A minimum 15 years experience in Refinery or petrochemical maintenance including minimum of 10 years of maintenance organization with active participation in Turnaround events. Should have taken part in minimum 2 T/A cycles at different roles with 3+ years leadership capacity

Working Knowledge to be acquired on the job:
a) Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations.

b) Problem solving abilities.

c) Credibility to set high standards and promote continuous improvement for the corporation.

d) Structured organized and methodical detail orientated.

e) Advance interpersonal and communication skills.

f) Ability to work under pressure with very strong teamwork skills

g) Influential with Owner's (base plant), Project and Contractor organizations

h) Best practices in planning and execution methods and strategies.

i) Advanced knowledge in computer planning programs.

**Your responsibilities**:
a) Pre TA, familiarize himself with the assigned job packages with focus on:
b) SHE procedures

c) High risk jobs.

d) Inspection hold points

e) Execution requirements such as method statements and rigging plan.

f) Pre TA, check and confirm the availability of materials.

g) Pre TA, review each job package and confirm the execution methodology is safe and practical

h) Realize the type of contracts used for execution. He must have the knowledge of contract methodology for each job package i.e. lump sum or unit rate.

i) Familiarize himself with the TA scope change control procedure

j) Reviewing and signing the work permits submitted by the contractors.

k) Evaluate the work permit conditions during the execution and adjust as required to meet the SHE objectives.

l) Systematically and clearly transmit instructions to start the work to contractors.

m) Systematically and clearly communicate progress and concerns to Ass. Block Leader and Planner.

n) Direct monitoring of the works execution such as but not limited to:
o) Safe execution in line with the company procedures, SHE Plan and JLAs.

p) In case of deviation from the approved JLA, stop the work and discuss with the contractor and Assistant Block Leader.

q) Check and verify rigging plans, tools and housekeeping.

r) Follow up inspection hold-points

s) Communicate insufficient skills of the contractor assignees for immediate action

t) Application of the flange Management System

v) Follow up punch list items until clearance and acceptance by end
