**Job Summary**:
Responsible for shipping, receiving of shipments, and support to stage materials for shopfloor production activities. Also, sort and counts parts and supplies and logs inventory.

**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY**:

- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Establish and maintain a safe and healthful working environment.
- Take responsibility for actions and outcomes and persist despite obstacles.
- Demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about getting results.
- Responsible for the coordination, organization and issuing of inventory & non-inventory items.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and participate in process improvements and quality improvement programs.
- Willingness to assist other teams’ members with other material handling functions, such as but not limited to, Packing.
- Give long hours to the job and/or be available around the clock in case of emergency, if needed.
- Collaborate with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
- Monitoring material inventories to ensure that the correct number of materials are always on hand.
- Move requested material from/into manufacturing warehouse to/from a designated workstation in the shop.
- Checking incoming materials for any _defects or flaws _that may need to be addressed.
- Ensure new materials ordered when inventory is low or when materials are no longer usable due to defects or damages.
- Ensure that the correct inventory transactions are taking place in ERP.
- Solve inventory, shipping or receiving issues. Insure a smooth and complete work flow in the warehouse.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on pallets, cases, bales, or other containers to ensure no product is located within the facility that is not properly identified.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Reads Work Order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved/delivered.

**BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Minimum of high school diploma, Associates Degree or trade school equivalent is a plus.
- Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with the capacity to work independently
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demand.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred but other ERP experience will be considered).
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarization with an Engineered-to-Order or Make-to-Order manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with ERP Planning preferred. (Oracle experience preferred but other ERP experience will be considered).
- Preferably, operates industrial fork truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, diagram, or schedule form.
