- Functions as the MD530 Production Control Supervisor under the direction of the DAA IMSS Maintenance Manager. Oversees and manages all maintenance activities; directs and coordinates the program activities of aviation maintenance; coordinates with aviation logistics and supply chain management for the MD530 platform, ALSE, and AGSE. Provide aircraft maintenance Production Control management support to Vinnell Arabia in support of MNG Aviation Command. Participate in the coordination of the scheduling of aircraft to meet the contractual operational readiness rates, and Customer mission requirements. Plan, schedule, and streamline all scheduled maintenance actions to afford Vinnell Arabia and MNG Aviation Command maximum flexibility with aircraft availability and readiness. Streamline work processes to reduce maintenance cycle time while improving aircraft maintenance operations and readiness. Ensure established work standards and procedures are developed and adhered to. Establish and monitor an aircraft time-change components schedule to ensure replacement components are ordered in a timely manner to meet MNG Aviation Command flying hour and maintenance requirements. Manage the controlled exchange program and ensure all necessary documentations are completed when executing control exchanges. Train selected MNG Aviation Command personnel to develop and maintain an effective Production Control management system and conduct effective Production Control operations. Ensure that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.**Major Duties and Responsibilities**- A. Duties/responsibilities
-1. Ensures that maintenance functional activities and procedures are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness (OR) rates IAW contractual requirements.
-2. Responsible for the establishment of maintenance systems, processes, procedures and reports (daily (DSR), monthly, yearly) that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.
-3. Establish daily maintenance organizational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated OR rates.
-4. In coordination with VA and the Aviation Logistics supervisor establish the daily maintenance support plan.
-5. Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards, and measures; reports IAW the quality control inspection program for all maintenance and in coordination with Supply Chain Management (SCM) activities.
-6. Report inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance and supporting maintenance activities to the DAA IMSS Maintenance Manager.
-7. Establishes work priorities for the following:
-Maintenance Supervisors
-Aircraft Mechanics
-Aircraft shop Supervisor
-Aircraft Electricians
-8. Conducts daily production control meeting for coordination and synchronization of all aviation maintenance support functions.
-9. Coordinates maintenance training activities and requirements with the Training Manager.
-10. Supports a professional development program in support of Saudization-localization.
-11. Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
-12. Develops, establishes, and executes, in coordination with the Maintenance Manager and Flight Operations for the Downed 13. Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) process and procedure.
-13. Responsible to coordinate with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for matters relating to aircraft maintenance, airframes, and warranties.
-14. Ensure all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
-15. Other duties as assigned and or directed by management.
- B. Independence: Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities outlined by the Maintenance Manager.
- C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Primary supervisor of all maintenance support operations. Property accountability and amount TBD.
**Minimum Qualifications**- A. Education Level:
- 1.Required: Highschool diploma.- 2.Preferred: Advanced degree in management. FAA A&P certificate.-
B. Experience:
-1. Required: Ten (10) years’ cumulative experience in US Military aviation maintenance.
-2. Required: Eight (8) Years’ minimum experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician required.
-3. Required: Two (2) years’ experience as a Production Control Officer or NCOIC.
-4. Required: Five (5) years’ Supervisory experience in aviation maintenance.
-5. Preferred: Ten (10) years’ experience as aviation Production Control Officer or NCOIC preferred.
- C. Specific Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
-1. Proficient in computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft-related documentation.
