**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Legal Documentation and Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
- Legal Advice: Provide accurate, commercially sound legal advice to all stakeholders on various issues (including employment laws). Clarify legal language or specifications for the organization.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Dispute Resolution / Litigation: Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution processes, including coordinating with external legal counsels. Advise on settlement negotiations and legal strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders and Company’s management to develop effective defense strategies.
- Governance: Specify and monitor internal governance policies.
- Legal Updates: Stay current on legislative changes.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD). A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is not required but favorable.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified legal counsel in a business environment, with specific experience in a corporate legal position in KSA.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant laws (including corporate law and procedures).
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
