**Project Overview**:
Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently estimated at 94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system. Riyadh’s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- BACS Station Controller (Operational Transition Team) are the eyes and ears of the operation control center and during Train operation they are essential to ensure safe evacuation and operate related equipment’s as per procedure in Non - operational stations.
- When required, reports unavailability of part or all of the Non-operational station to the OCC Chief Controller.
- Responsible for the execution of emergency scenario plans and assistance of passengers during a train evacuation within the station.
- Station Controller must always learn and respect strict operational and safety procedures.
- Ultimately multiple Station Controller will be needed to ensure to handle any emergency during passenger service at Non-operational station.
- Successful completion of this training to the required standard is a pre-requirement prior to undertaking the role of Station Controller.

**Working Hours**:

- The scope of work of the Station Controller will require flexibility to work both day and night shifts of varied durations at stations or onboard trains.
- Shift times and duration will vary depending on operational requirements but will generally be of minimum 8 hours and maximum 12 hours.

**Station Controller Trainer & Mentoring Functions**:

- BACS Station Controller will report to the BACS Stations Manager (Non
- Operational stations) however station controller will interface and take instruction from the operation control center who is responsible for all train movements and passenger service

- Strong authoritarian
- Previous similar or inter-changeable experience in rail or safety environment
