Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented **Document Control Specialist **to join our team

In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Processes one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines. Ensures that pre-established document control requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used; how many and which signatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project.
- Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using standard document management programs systems to register documents, use workflows, maintain databases, and produce logs, transmittals, and other reports as required.
- Performing quality control checks to ensure that digital files are complete, legitimate, oriented correctly, named consistently according to the file naming convention, and archived consistently according to the file directory structure convention.
- Ensuring that activities in the document control processing adhere to document control procedures.
- Monitoring the use of the automated workflows and ensuring they are consistently operational and performing as designed.
- Issuing and distributing reports on the status of documents to ensure all outstanding issues have been addressed.
- Supervising the proper organization and maintenance of the Project Documents.
- Ensuring that all requests for documents are addressed efficiently and expeditiously.
- Prepare document control reports or any document required by any Program department.
- Ensure efficient document distribution, both in hard copy and electronic copy, to meet the program's needs.
- Regularly consult with project teams to establish and coordinate work to meet requirements efficiently.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and the Information Technology (IT) department to support the project closeout process and assist with document onboarding from the Project Management Software System (PMSS) to the final repository.
- Performing additional assignments as directed.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- 5+ years of related work experience
- Exceptional information management/document control skills
- Proficient with EDMS (Aconex, SharePoint, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and consultants.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Assignments will require a working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (Aconex).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Organizational and people skills.
