Cfs Credit Controller

Reporting to the Senior Customer Financial Services Manager, the CFS Credit Controller will perform Credit & Collections activity for the West Region. Ensure self and company targets are achieved for the Region. To assist the management in implementing and supporting company policies and procedures.

**Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following**:
Collection of amounts due to Emerson on assigned accounts receivable ledgers as identified by individual, regional and company targets.

Conduct customer visits, meeting finance and commercial contacts to ensure:

- The customer is influenced to make prompt payments of Emerson receivables.
- Understanding of the customer’s methods of processing invoices so that we may, as required, adapt our processes to align with the customer’s processes.
- Build relationships with the customer contacts to better understand expected payments and reasons for delay at all times.
- Make recommendations to and assist CFS Management in implementing new policies/procedures for operational improvement and supporting company objectives.
- Prompt resolution of customer disputes by the Business Unit and to escalate issues within the organization.

Highlight any concerns or potential bad debts promptly to the Senior Customer Financial Services (CFS) Manager and Regional Finance Director

Exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion in handling process and administrative duties, including making decisions that will significantly impact internal/external customers.

Provide a high level of customer financial statement analysis.

Manage Trade Finance activities through extensive investigation of exposure in compliance with Uniform Customs and Practice (UCP) 600 for Documentary Credits governed by the International Chamber of Commerce.

High level of cross-functional engagement to drive timely resolution of disputes.

Drive adherence and support of company policies and procedures.

Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the line manager.

**What do I need to be considered for this role?**
- Degree in Business or related field
- Credit Management professional from a reputed Credit Organization is a plus
- Five years of related credit and collections experience
- One year's experience in Oil & Gas
- English - Fluency in speaking, reading and writing
- Arabic - Fluency in speaking, reading and writing
