Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **BIM Coordinator - MEP **to join our team The key responsibilities for the BIM Coordinator role are to support our project delivery teams and execute the day to day development, establishment and implementation of BIM throughout the JCPDI projects. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for the effective implementation and compliant adoption of BIM standards, processes and protocols at a projects level.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Participate and support the BIM Management Office (BMO) activities with the development and implementation of the MEA Going Digital (MGD) for Engineering Roadmap.
- Provide progress and performance updates on fortnightly and monthly basis e.g. Client and Leads
- Assist with and document workshops and meetings
- Assist with and manage the deployment (hardware and software) and provide hands-on BIM software training for project
- Maintain specific BIM software template files to assure standards
- Assist with and support object(s) creation and maintain libraries according to the relevant project(s) and stage(s) needs.
- Maintain and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards
- Maintain and automate routines in BIM to support standards, quality and productivity
- Maintain BIM specification(s) documentation and support integration with Tender(s) and Contract(s)
- Support the tender process and provide recommendations for award(s)
- Monitor, coordinate and report on the development of Post contract BIM Execution Plan, Task and Master Information Delivery Plan (TIDP and MIDP)
- Support and validate project design delivery e.g. modeling, detailing, scheduling and extraction
- Ensure Project Information Models (PIM’s) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP and CDE protocol.
- Assist in developing the process, perform, measure and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions in accordance with project standards and requirements
- Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models, follow up resolution and closure with Design leads for internal design development
- Review, monitor and report on the development of clash interference and fully coordinated models
- Monitor and facilitate the use of models for Construction Design Management (CDM) activities.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the Project delivery team design-changes and model challenges
- Monitor and support the data collection process and validate models for Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBie) for the Design stage data drop(s) as required.
- Prepare validation reports for milestone BIM package submissions
- Validate and export model geometry and data to schedules for internal design and commercial activities
- Support the Quality department during conducting audits and supply chain non-conformance(s)
- Support the Contracts and Project Controls department in BIM related activities.
- Coordinate and support planning and construction activities with internally developed and proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting
- Monitor the development and facilitate the use of models for Health and Safety activities.
- Perform quality checks and report deviations of construction installation with approved coordinated models
- Monitor and validate testing and commissioning data in models
- Monitor, perform quality checks and report on the quality of as-built models
- Monitor and support the data collection process and validate Asset Information Models (AIM’s) with Maintenance Management System (MMS) requirements e.g. Construction Operation Building Information Exchange (COBie) and/or Client Specific requirements.
- Monitor and validate the Asset Information Models tagging with all related project documents e.g. the H&S file(s) and O&M Manual(s) etc.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Design or Construction from a Mechanical Engineering discipline background.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in BIM Implementation on major Projects or Program.
- Experience either from a Consultant or Contractor environment.
- Experience with British BIM Standard ISO19650
- Middle East/Gulf Countries experience preferred but not essential
