Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Manager - Landscape Architecture to join our team

This role will evaluate and oversee studies for master planning, design and development projects, support internal coordination and external outreach efforts, and represent the client on technical and policy advisory groups. The Senior Landscape Architect is responsible for assignments that are highly complex and sensitive in nature, where substantial judgment and initiative are essential in making recommendations and resolving problems relative to planning, design and development.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Provide assistance to client leadership, including input, review and comment on landscape and public realm planning, design and development initiatives, studies and reports.
- Review, comment and/or contribute to planning reports for major projects, including plans, design guidelines and standards, other landscape design studies.
- Support the management and direction of internal/external multi-disciplinary teams, including the development and evaluation of requests for proposals, including scope and performance measures.
- Provide recommendations in support of the procurement of consultant services.
- Review and report on project, program progress and deliverables.
- Manage consultant and internal landscape and master planning team activities.
- Lead, coordinate and review the work of less experienced planners and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project.
- Supervision, training and mentoring of junior planners
- Serve as a liaison between clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams as required
- Maintain relationships with peers from Kingdom-wide and regional authorities, including ministries, agencies, public utilities and their officials;
- Confer with local authorities, civic leaders, social scientists, and land planning and development specialists to devise and recommend strategies for urban design and development for residential, commercial, industrial, and community uses.
- Interact and coordinate with government agencies
- Demonstrate familiarity with relevant, emerging KSA policies and standards.
- Conduct and/or actively participate in Planning and Design Workshops
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and official correspondence intended for senior management, boards, government partners and other external bodies as required.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Minimum of 20 years of professional experience with significant experience in the Middle East and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Leadership skills and experience working across disciplines and with interdisciplinary teams
- Proven experience and track record in public and private sector planning, urban design and placemaking, as well as commercial development projects
- Experienced with international large-scale programs is essential; experience in Saudi Arabia, GCC or MENA region preferred
- Excellent written, oral, presentation, and graphic communication skills
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required
- English language skills essential

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor of Science from an accredited landscape architecture, urban planning, and/or architecture program, Master of Science in Landscape Architecture/Design/Planning preferred
- Certification, License or Registration as a professional in landscape architecture, urban planning, and/or architecture (e.g. CLARB, AICP, ASLA, LEED AP, CNU) is preferred
